Whether you’re on the hunt for home furnishings, mod clothing, or amazing art, Palm Springs is a hotspot for all your vintage shopping needs.  You are guaranteed to find treasures throughout the entire Coachella Valley, up in the High Desert and in Palm Springs proper. The real key to Palm Springs, is knowing the good places to go before you come for a visit.

Palm Springs has the largest concentration of mid-century modern architecture, if you have time, try to find an estate sale.  You can check out Craiglist, local ads, newspapers or ask your hotel concierge or Airbnb Host - they might have some surprising tips for you.  If you’ve never had the pleasure of checking out a Palm Springs Estate Sale, you truly are missing out.  Not only are these homes visually appealing, they tend to be filled with epic vintage and designer goods, both housewares and clothing.  You can find some real scores with just a little bit of effort.

If you're looking for something more scheduled and requiring less investigatory efforts, you can check out the Palm Springs Farmer’s Market every Saturday, where there is a mix of flowers, fruit, food and other goods like homemade soaps.  Always local, all the time. 

The first Sunday of every month starting in October, running through May every year is also the truly magnificent, Palm Springs Vintage Market.  With a diverse gathering of merchants selling vintage, retro and mid century modern merchandise, the Vintage Market is a thrifters heaven. Parking is free, and admission is only $5.00.
